As a Senior Account Technology Strategist (ATS) you serve as a trusted technology advisor for a strategic global energy customer, collaborating closely with business and technology leaders to shape a technology vision and translate it into actionable business outcomes using Microsoft’s cloud, artificial intelligence, security, and industry solutions. Act as a trusted advisor by partnering with senior executives to articulate how Microsoft technologies will deliver business outcomes and long-term growth, leveraging deep industry and technology insight. Build and execute long-term technology roadmaps and account strategies, aligning innovative Microsoft solutions with customer priorities and driving sustained digital transformation. Synthesize customer business and industry insights, create actionable recommendations, and coach teams to maximize value realization and achieve business goals. Foster strong relationships and facilitate collaboration between customers, partners, and Microsoft resources to accelerate solution adoption and create new capabilities.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or related field AND proven years technical consulting, technical consultative selling, practice building, or related technical/sales/industry experience OR equivalent experience. Proven experience in technical consulting, consultative technology sales, digital transformation, solution strategy, enterprise architecture, business consulting, or a related customer-facing role. Experience engaging with senior business and technical stakeholders and leading strategic customer conversations. Strong understanding of cloud platforms, data, AI, security, and modern technology solutions. Experience supporting large, complex enterprise customers. Energy industry experience, including electric utilities, oil and gas, renewables, power generation, energy services, or related sectors.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience driving business transformation through technology adoption. Experience in enterprise account planning and opportunity development. Experience working with consulting firms, systems integrators, or strategic technology partners. Experience leading cross-functional virtual teams in a matrixed environment. Knowledge of industry challenges related to sustainability, grid modernization, operational efficiency, industrial AI, or energy transition initiatives. Ability to influence decision-making at executive and board-adjacent levels. Strategic Account Technology IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Norway is kr 798,000.00 - kr
