SAP Project Manager | Hanoi Office

EY Vietnam is seeking passionate  SAP Project Manager to join our growing Technology Consulting practice. In this role, you will work with leading enterprises across ASEAN to design, implement, and optimize SAP solutions that drive digital transformation. This is an excellent opportunity to accelerate your consulting career with one of the world’s largest professional services organizations.   Key Responsibilities 1. Project Delivery & Governance

Lead end-to-end SAP implementation projects. Manage project scope, deliverables, timelines, and resource plans. Establish governance frameworks, including PMO processes, and reporting structures. Monitor project progress (schedule, cost, quality, risks) and ensure alignment with contractual commitments.

2. Stakeholder Management

Act as primary point of contact for client executives (CFO, CIO, Transformation Leads). Facilitate workshops, steering committee meetings, and executive updates.

3. SAP Program Leadership

Coordinate functional, technical, and integration streams (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, SCM, etc.). Drive solution design decisions with architects and functional leads.

4. Risk & Issue Management

Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks. Develop mitigation plans and ensure timely resolution of issues. Manage change requests, scope adjustments, and escalation processes.

5. Financial & Commercial Management

Manage project budgets, forecasts, and profitability (margin tracking). Oversee contract compliance and vendor coordination Support business development activities including proposals and client pitches.

6. Quality Assurance & Delivery Excellence

Ensure adherence to EY delivery methodologies and SAP Activate framework. Drive quality reviews, testing strategy (SIT/UAT), and go-live readiness. Support hypercare and post-implementation stabilization.

Qualifications & Requirements Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.

Manager: 8–12 years of experience Proven track record in SAP project/program management . Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementations is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

Strong understanding of SAP modules (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.). Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology and agile delivery models. Knowledge of integrations (SAP PI/PO, CPI, APIs) and ecosystem tools is a plus.

Certifications (Preferred)

SAP Certification (S/4HANA or relevant modules) PMP, Prince2, or Agile/Scrum certification

Soft Skills & Competencies

Excellent stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills. Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities. Ability to manage complex, ambiguous environments . Proven leadership and team management skills.
