Job Description
Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain software applications using C++ on Linux-based platforms. Develop and optimize multimedia applications leveraging GStreamer frameworks. Implement multithreaded applications with a focus on performance, scalability, and reliability. Work on RDK-based video and broadband solutions, including feature development and issue resolution. Analyze and troubleshoot customer and production issues through effective debugging techniques. Develop automation tools and scripts using Python and Shell scripting. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to review requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software. Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards using Git, Gerrit, and SVN. Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins. Support software releases and ensure smooth integration and deployment activities. Functional & Technical Skills Strong expertise in C++ programming and OOP principles. Solid understanding of multithreading, concurrency, synchronization, and memory management. Hands-on experience with GStreamer and multimedia streaming technologies. Experience working on Linux-based embedded systems. Strong knowledge of Git, Gerrit, SVN, and software configuration management. Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD practices. Strong debugging, root cause analysis, and performance tuning skills. Knowledge of adaptive streaming technologies including DASH and HLS. Experience developing automation tools using Python and Shell scripting. Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
