Box Machine Opr PR03 IQF Packout (2nd shift) - Berry St Plant

Job Description: This position is responsible for labeling boxes and operating the case erectors located on the box maker mezzanine .

Team Member utilizes a PC to print box labels.

Member labels box flats for production.

Member configures the case erector machines for production runs.

Member is responsible for loading and clearing the case erector of jams. Equipment:    Case Erector, Label Applicators, PC, Printer Other Duties : Work as directed by supervisor Special Skills:    Strong understanding of food safety, operational process, and strong math skills. Communication Skills:   Strong communication skills required. Environment : Work inside facility, noisy, wet floors, adequate lighting, moving objects, mechanical and electrical hazards.  Cold temperatures at times (Temp at or below 50 degrees) Adequate lighting and ventilation.  Sanitizing solutions in water and hand sanitizers.  Days per week and hours per day will vary.  Pay: $17.20 hour.

3 months of food industry production experience in the last 2 years (can be combination of employers as long as experience is 3 months within 2 years) There is 180 days (6 months) waiting period for former Tyson Foods team members.
