Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled IT Analyst Applications (Junior Data Analyst) to join our Infrastructure Services -CAT IT Division. The Junior Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, cleaning, analysing, and reporting on data from multiple sources. This entry-level role works closely with senior analysts, business stakeholders, and technical teams to turn raw data into accurate reports, clear dashboards, and actionable insights. The preference for this role is to be based out of Whitefield PSN Office, Bangalore, India   What you will do Collect, organize, and validate data from internal and external sources. Clean and prepare datasets by identifying errors, inconsistencies, duplicates, and missing values. Perform basic analysis to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. Create recurring and ad hoc reports that summarize key metrics and business performance. Write and run SQL queries to retrieve, join, and analyze data from databases. Document data sources, definitions, assumptions, methods, and reporting logic to support consistency and transparency. Partner with business teams to understand reporting needs and translate questions into data requirements. Support senior analysts with research, data modeling, quality checks, and presentation preparation. Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency. What you will have   2–4 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, data management, or a related internship/project-based role. Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and basic data manipulation. Moderate experience with SQL for querying and analyzing data. Familiarity with data visualization or business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Basic understanding of statistics, data quality concepts, and analytical problem-solving. The position requires the candidate to work a 5-a day -week schedule in the office Preferred Qualification: Exposure to Python, R, or other scripting languages for data analysis or automation. Experience working with relational databases, data warehouses, or cloud-based data platforms. Familiarity with data governance, data documentation, metadata, or data quality practices. Experience building dashboards, scorecards, or operational reports for business stakeholders.
