Role Overview: The Engineer - Environment performs focused engineering assignments under the guidance of experienced engineers, contributing to broader environmental engineering projects through data analysis, testing, and technical problem-solving.

Engineering Analysis & Data Management Problem-Solving & Technical Development Team Leadership & Mentoring Project Execution Gather and correlate basic engineering data using established and well-defined procedures Perform detailed and routine engineering assignments involving calculations and relatively simple tests Work on specific and limited portions of broader engineering assignments Propose approaches to solve new problems encountered in assigned projects Identify discrepancies in results and recommend corrective actions Provide guidance and support to entry-level engineers Perform work in accordance with agreed-upon budgets and schedules with moderate supervision Qualifications Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field 5-7 years of professional experience in environmental engineering or related technical field Demonstrated proficiency in engineering data analysis, technical calculations, and environmental modeling Extensive experience with environmental testing procedures, laboratory protocols, and field sampling methodologies Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with proven ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges Demonstrated ability to work independently on defined project tasks while managing multiple assignments with moderate supervision Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to prepare technical reports and present findings Proficiency with engineering software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite Experience mentoring or providing technical guidance to junior-level engineers Familiarity with environmental regulations, compliance standards, and industry best practices Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or significant progress toward licensure Project management experience on environmental engineering initiatives Experience with environmental impact assessments, sustainability initiatives, or remediation projects Knowledge of CAD software or specialized environmental engineering tools and databases Experience with quality assurance and quality control procedures in technical environments Key Competencies: Advanced technical proficiency in environmental engineering principles and applications Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data management and documentation Strong collaborative teamwork and interpersonal skills with ability to mentor others Initiative and
