Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities Support compliance with applicable external standards and regulations, including international management system standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001. Perform visual and documentation reviews of hardware routed to quality. Prepare and/or verify disposition packages, including rework, clear, CTP/MRB, and scrap, in accordance with established standard work, specifications, and quality procedures. Execute serial number-related activities, including creation, transfer, correction, and removal, in line with approved work instructions and enterprise standards. Maintain accurate system records in quality systems and ERP/MES platforms for all quality transactions completed during the weekend shift. Identify recurring serial number or documentation issues and escalate them for follow-up problem solving and process improvement. Monitor quality cages, hold areas, and queues to identify aging holds and out-of-flow inventory. Partner with quality, operations, and material handling teams to clear quality holds promptly once disposition or documentation is available. Apply standard work for holds, RTV material, and rework activities to reduce turnaround time and prevent accumulation of inventory in quality areas. Work closely with material handlers to ensure proper routing of parts to and from quality locations, including RTV returns, rework loops, and cleared hardware. Provide timely communication to cell leaders and operators regarding part status, disposition, and expected release timing to support production flow and schedule attainment. Participate in weekend daily management huddles and provide input on quality-related issues, inventory flow, and operational priorities. Resolve routine issues using established procedures and escalate issues outside defined parameters to a People Leader or more senior team members. Perform data entry and transaction processing with a high level of accuracy, including verification and correction of information as needed. Collaborate across teams to solve issues, improve flow, and support weekend operational performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years quality/logistics experience Desired Characteristics Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Experience working in a regulated manufacturing or quality environment. Familiarity with ISO-based quality systems, quality documentation, and hardware disposition processes. Experience using ERP, MES, or quality management systems. Prior experience supporting inventory control, serial number tracking, or quality hold management. Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced production environment Experience in manufacturing, quality, logistics, material handling, product management, or hardware processing. Ability to interpret basic drawings, specifications, and work instructions. Basic data entry and system transaction experience with strong attention to detail.
