Our Pratt & Whitney Digital Technology (DT) organization has an exciting leadership opportunity available for a Global Director, ERP COE reporting to the Executive Director of the Global ERP & CRM Systems Organization. This is a hybrid based opportunity located at our East Hartford, Connecticut campus location. * Position is posted as a hybrid role but there is also a remote role consideration factor for a best fit candidate located outside of the Connecticut area.
What You Will Do
This will be a hybrid/remote position with expectation to travel to various sites as needed to participate and engage in various working sessions and on-site collaboration with various business stakeholders. Travel expectations are at least 25%. This position offers a strategic, high-impact leadership role in global, mission driven, and complex manufacturing and aftermarket sustainment business operations. It has high visibility and involves strategic and operational interactions with DT and business leadership, including senior executives. Primary Responsibilities: - Lead the global ERP COE, setting the vision, governance model, and organizational structure that aligns with PW DT organization’s key guiding principles. - A strategic thinker and a thought leader who operates as a technology advisor to business stakeholders, brings in the right expertise and industry benchmarks as needed, and possesses the ability to influence positively across a complex matrixed and hierarchical organization. - A leader who strives for continuous improvement and innovation and stays on top of the latest technological trends; be a catalyst of change to enrich user experience with technology and operational efficiencies. - A leader who has excellent presentation and communication skills and can define the problem statement in simple non-technical terms but at the same time be able to lead the effort and drive the team to gather functional and technical requirements, analyze complex scenarios and business processes and support the team to develop a holistic solution framework for successful delivery. - Manage and deliver on a complex portfolio of run and transform initiatives across the ERP integrated landscape as well as develop and maintain strategic multi-year technology roadmaps in partnership with business stakeholders. This includes developing a P&W specific strategy on SAP S/4 HANA transformation that informs and aligns with the RTX wide S/4 HANA process & technology transformation program. - Strong proficiency with daily operations management of the COE – vendor relationships, budget planning & management, resource management, performance management, risk assessment and mitigation.
