How you will contribute You will: Assist and lead the cultural transformation regarding HSE to help lead plant to achieve Zero accidents and Incidents Be responsible for coordinating and overseeing implementation of all Health & Safety programs and processes Participate in investigations to facilitate closure of identified non-conformances Provide Health and Safety expertise for the plant for all new projects and change management activities Follow up on non-conformances and develops the systems to resolve them based on root cause analysis Maintain an up-to-date incident reporting system, assist with investigating incidents in conjunction with the HSE Pillar team/safety committee and drive the completion of corrective actions to eliminate root causes/reoccurrence Develop technical guidance programs to identify and remove physical hazards` What you will bring A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in: Experience in Environmental Health and Safety Must have completed Environmental Health and Safety training in areas such as OSHA, EPA, DNREC Experience in safety, and/or environmental technical standards Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with individuals at all levels Understanding and knowledge of regulatory reports and compliances including experience with ISO More about this role We are looking for an Occupational Safety Manager to lead the safety strategy and operations at our Curitiba plant. This professional will be responsible for connecting the technical team to the shop floor, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards, while engaging across different forums with partner areas such as Manufacturing, Maintenance, Engineering, among others. We are seeking someone who is a technical reference and, at the same time, has the ability to influence and drive initiatives in a dynamic and interdependent manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the cultural transformation in HSE, steering the plant toward the goal of Zero Accidents and Incidents Coordinate and oversee the implementation of all Occupational Health and Safety programs and processes Participate in incident investigations, ensuring the closure of non-conformities within established deadlines Maintain the incident reporting system up to date, conducting investigations in partnership with the HSE pillar team and directing corrective actions to eliminate root causes Provide Health and Safety expertise for new projects and Management of Change activities at the plant Monitor non-conformities and develop systems to resolve them based on root cause analysis Develop technical guidance programs for the identification and removal of physical hazards Manage KPIs, safety campaigns, and cost control for the area Act as the guardian of safety standards within the plant context, including audits and interface with other sites Maintain a constant presence on the production floor, driving topics forward and identifying improvement opportunities Key Requirements Specialization in Occupational Safety Engineering, with CREA registration Familiarity with Regulatory Standards applicable to industry (NR-10, NR-12, NR-13, NR-23, NR-33, and NR-35, among others) Previous experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment Experience with team
