Senior Software Engineer

Role Description: Develop, test and maintain applications with established processes while building holistic understanding of the underlying applications and domain Reporting relationship: This role will report to Delivery Manager / Senior Delivery Manager Experience- 4-6 Years relevant Salesforce Experience.

Responsibilities Translate functional requirements into technical requirements Design and build high performance, reusable, reliable code by following the best practices Come up with the best practices to ensure good quality deliverables Take ownership of the work Write test classes and ensure adequate code coverage as per the guidelines Communicate with leader, scrum master, customers and other stakeholders to design cohesive product strategies and ensure effective collaboration throughout all the phases of development, testing and deployment Mentor the junior developers Skills Apex development Apex, triggers , Lightening experience - LWC (lightning web component), Lightening aura components Strong experience in salesforce configuration and customization Strong experience in integrating salesforce with external systems Strong experience In Agile way of working DevOps practitioner with knowledge of Bitbucket, Git, CI/CD processes Hands-on experience in administration setup e.g. managing users, security controls, data as well as creating roles, profiles and reports. Experience in designing customer objects, custom fields, picklists, page layouts, workflow, approval process, validation rules, custom tabs, reports, dashboards, as per the application requirements Good communication, analytical and problem solving skills (Good to have) High level AWS experience/knowledge and readiness to work on AWS workloads Qualifications Must Have Education: Graduate Bachelors degree (any stream) Other: Strong technical skills. Knowledge of SDLC. Good aptitude, positive attitude, strong reasoning and communication skills. Must be a good team player. Good analytical skills, research oriented. Sound knowledge of Principal Financial Group specific application. Ability to resolve questions/issues related to the application as a Subject matter expert, ability to communicate with various stakeholders.
