Intern   -   People Operations    The Big Picture     Sysco LABS is the Global In-House Center of Sysco Corporation (NYSE: SYY), the world’s largest foodservice company. Sysco LABS’ enterprise technology is present in the end-to-end foodservice journey, enabling the sourcing of food products, merchandising, storage and warehouse operations, order placement and pricing algorithms, the delivery of food and supplies to Sysco’s global network and the in-restaurant dining experience of the end-customer.

Responsibilities

Maintain ing   an internal employee database   Supporting   the   onboarding and welcome process es   for new joiners   Coordinating and tracking performance evaluation processes and   maintaining   trackers   Liais ing   with   internal   and   external   stakeholders   to   collect   and   verify data   and   i nitiating   employee data changes   Updat ing   and fil ing   internal documents   Assisting HRBPs with employee grievances, investigations, reports, and documentation   Supporting the end-to-end   maternity leave   process, including benefits, insurance, and return-to-work coordination   Coordinating recognition nominations and releasing digital rewards   Assisting   in organizing divisional engagement events and HRBP special projects   Engag ing   in   other   duties as assigned     Requirements:   A   Bachelor’s   D egree   (fully or partially complete d )   from a recognized local or foreign university or   an   equivalent qualification   A p rofessional qualification in Human Resource Management ( f ully or partially completed) will be an added advantage   Expert level   proficiency   in Microsoft Excel, Word,   PowerPoint   and Outlook   An organized and highly detail-oriented personality   Must be c apable of   prioritiz ing   work in a dynamic environment, whilst driving tasks through to completion   Excellent interpersonal skills   The a bility to take ownership of and   e nsur e   a high level   of quality in   all   assigned tasks ,   while working on strict deadlines   Strong verbal and written communication skills   in English   The ability to work effectively under pressure   P rior experience   in   the HR field will be an added advantage       Benefits:   An attractive allowance   Paid birthday leave   Exposure to the corporate culture of a Fortune 100 company   An opportunity to work with and learn from industry specialists, and develop professionally in your chosen field   Opportunities to network and build lasting professional relationships   A progressive culture that promotes work-life harmony and personal development     Sysco LABS is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
