We’re looking for a commercially driven account manager who thrives on using their business acumen to drive growth and deliver improved access to treatment for patients in need. This is a new product launch with a first in class breakthrough medication helping patients who have been suffering with long standing treatment resistant depression (TRD). In this role, you will work in partnership with Key Clinicians, Hospital Executives, Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacists both within and external to specialised mood treatment centres. In this role you will be supported by a highly experienced cross-functional team with a ‘one team’ approach and a high level of support and resources. Reporting to the National Business Manager, Mood you’ll lead the NSW South territory by developing tactical account plans to grow your business whilst contributing to the strategic business strategy.
Responsibilities
Build and expand existing referral networks Achieve sales and activity goals for the territory and state Deliver the therapeutic Mood sales objectives and targets through cross-functional collaboration Build and maintain professional relationships with target customers Train and certify clinicians, nurses, pharmacists and their treatment centres Impart highly technical information to key customers Implement a Key Account Management strategy to grow the Mood business in your territory Skills & Competencies The ability to uncover customer needs, action insights and adapt your sales approach to suit A high level of business acumen is required with the proven ability to adopt a Key Account Management approach to the business and customer base A strategic mindset with sound competitor awareness Experience or qualifications that are critical to this position Tertiary degree or equivalent Previous experience in psychiatry A successful sales track record in selling ideally to Specialists and other stakeholders, High level EQ that facilitates you working well autonomously and as part of a team; and personal commitment to being the best you can be, for our
