The Opportunity
This role is responsible for coordinating the movement, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods to support efficient production operations and on-time customer delivery. The position plays a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy, ensuring safe material handling, supporting food packaging quality standards, and helping create a safe, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the movement, storage, and shipment of raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods. Safely load, unload, transport, and stage materials using forklifts, motorized pallet jacks, and other approved material-handling equipment. Generate and maintain accurate barcode labels, shipping documentation, inventory records, and material tracking information. Monitor equipment and operational processes to support safe and efficient workflow. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with 5S standards and housekeeping expectations. Promote food packaging safety, product quality, and regulatory compliance by following established procedures and promptly reporting concerns. Participate in training, continuous improvement initiatives, and departmental projects. Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements. Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational objectives. What You Need to Succeed High school diploma or GED required. Ability to read, understand, and apply information from instruction manuals, procedure manuals, and work instructions. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to safely operate material-handling equipment or obtain required certifications. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
