LBG - The Best Of Both Worlds. - YouTube Job Description This is a key role within Leeding Builders Group (“LBG”) responsible for management of the construction project accounting department. The Project Accounting Supervisor will ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and financial reports in line with the expectations of our business, corporate parameters, and client requirements. Serves as a readily accessible point of contact for company personnel, providing timely responses to questions, issue resolution, and financial information requests. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: Supervise and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including managerial responsibilities over multiple project accountants Ensure timeliness and verify accuracy of the AIA application for payment process for the company’s portfolio of construction projects Provide guidance to project teams and accountants regarding protocol for lien waivers, stored materials, deposit logs, and where required, payroll reporting, local hiring, etc. Maintain functional and professional templates for internal and external use Internally audit project budgets, costs, and financial performance Spot-check applications for payment to ensure quality and consistency across all projects Work closely with project managers to ensure accurate cost reporting and forecasting Provide support to project accountants for complex accounting matters, client inquiries, and subcontractor inquiries Assist with month-end close processes related to project financials Support audits and ensure compliance with company and client requirements Directly process miscellaneous payables, including overhead payables and payables requiring allocation across multiple projects Provide expense report oversight and assist with processing and approvals Post job cost transactions entered by project accounting personnel Review and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy Ensure timely payroll reporting to insurance carriers Assist with project budgeting and forecasting processes Provide training and guidance to accounting personnel Prepare financial analyses and reports
