THE JOB: As a Senior Finance Manager, you will be a strategic powerhouse driving operational excellence and financial performance across MGM Resorts' nationwide portfolio. You will lead a high-performing finance team, translating complex data into actionable business strategies that enhance our operations, guest experience, and marketing efforts. Partnering closely with property executives and corporate leadership, you will oversee advanced financial modeling, rigorous P&L management, and strategic forecasting to maximize EBITDA and shape the financial future of our enterprise. THE DAY-TO-DAY: Collaborate with senior stakeholders, including operations team Directors, the Executive Director of Finance, and the CFO, to provide strategic financial insights, recommendations, and financial reports that inform key business decisions. Partner with our Gaming Compliance team to ensure our financial SOPs are strictly aligned with the expectations of the MLGCA. Lead the activities of the accounting team, ensuring the team is focused on key objectives, prioritizing deliverables appropriately, and submitting accurate reports. Oversee the activities of the Scan Team and Sensitive Key Control Administrator, ensuring that our financial administration functions operate smoothly and meet the premier standards set by our Corporate GAA (Gaming, Audit, & Accounting) team. Lead the month-end close process, ensuring our accounting staff is fully engaged in expense reviews and coordinating with operators to ensure accurate P&L statements. Coordinate with the Executive Director of Finance to issue preliminary financial statements to executive leadership, and with the Director of Financial Planning & Analysis to review variances to prior year and budget. Leverage strong knowledge of key enterprise systems, including Oracle, OnBase, Patron Management, Machine Accounting, CTA, Workday, ServiceNow, and SailPoint. Align with Cage and Credit teams to ensure necessary financial documentation, wire transfers, discounts, and financial functions are complete and accurate. Collaborate with the Corporate Fixed Asset team to ensure our balance sheet and capital purchases are in the correct status, adhering to company accounting policy and SOX standards. The actual salary offer will take into account a wide range of factors, including location. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s incentive plan.
