The Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe operation of all equipment within the Service Center. Duties may include accurately moving, stacking, and loading product, consolidating, and staging pallets for put away. The Equipment Operators position require associates to be taken up to 30 feet in the air on equipment. Automation Operators duties include ensuring maximum throughput, first level troubleshooting of equipment problems including use of computer logs and communicating labor needs to maximize the running hours of the machinery. All operators must be able to certify on any machine within the warehouse as business needs dictate. Rate: $21.00/hour Shifts Available: Monday - Thursday 2am - 12:30pm Responsibilities Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Safely operate all equipment within the distribution center. Equipment operator equipment includes: swing reach truck, reach truck, order picker, and any other machines as needed. Automation operator equipment includes inbound receiving line, outbound single box line and autobagger. Ensure all assigned equipment is fully operational at beginning of shift and at full capacity which includes checking for damage and reporting all damages or malfunctions to supervisor immediately. Equipment operators operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in a distribution facility and maneuvers equipment in and around tight corners, through staging areas, and around pedestrian traffic in a safe manner. Performs routine inspection on assigned equipment and refers defects or needed repairs to the supervisor or maintenance team; cleans equipment. Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to read, write, operate RF and Print and Apply printing device, conduct business related mathematics and analyze data as required.
