Operative

This operative role is to support lab functions on a customer site. There are specific tasks outline below. Avantor is looking for a dedicated Operative to optimize our  Avantor Services  team. Join us and learn new skills while Setting Science in Motion!       What we’re looking for    Education: High School or Equivalent  is required  Experience:  Previous experience working in a customer-facing environment is highly desirable. This can be general warehouse, hospitality or retail.    Additional experience:  of working in a laboratory environment and Knowledge of SHE requirements in a laboratory environment is desirable but not essential. Collaboration Tool:  Good IT skills required (including Microsoft Word/Excel/Outlook) preferred   Who you are Are  you a "go-getter" who enjoys manual work and is aware of stock management procedures to some degree, with an interest in science? Do you already live in Dublin or can easily commute in to the city Do you have a driving license and own a vehicle Are you comfortable working in customer-centric environments How you will thrive and create an impact    Machine & Hand wash and perform a quality check and inspection of all glassware for damages and cleanliness, ensure disposal of damaged glassware, record all details accurately Stock up all glassware in regulated laboratories, ensuring we have the right stock levels and ordering stock in where required, including adhoc order requests Cleaning and regular decontamination of a variety of specialist laboratory equipment Freezer de-icing on a regular basis. Operate all equipment in accordance with procedural documents, site, and regulatory requirements.
