Works cooperatively with all members of the care team to support the vision and mission of the organization, delivering excellent customer service. Supports the teams in meeting state compliance goals. This is for a full-time (40 hours/week) Telecommute position in the United States. The schedule is Monday through Friday, an 8-hour shift between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm EST. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime. If you reside in the state of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, or Rhode Island , you'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. 10% of expected travel within Massachusetts.

Primary Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service Manage administrative intake and data entry for clinical team of membership Work with providers and / or the clinical team to manage request for long term and respite services Manage notifications, processing incoming and outgoing referrals, and prior authorizations, including intake, notification and census roles Receive care coordination notification cases for non - clinical assessment / intervention and provide appropriate triage Assist the clinical staff with setting up documents / triage cases for Clinical Coverage Review Process and distribute custom reports to providers and clinical staff Multitasking with multiple platforms and applications Inbound / outbound phone calls to providers other internal departments to assist with notifications, documentation What are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group? Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED 1+ years of experience using the telephone and computer as primary instruments in workplace setting 1+ years of healthcare administration experience Intermediate level of proficiency using a computer and Microsoft Office including Microsoft Word (create correspondence and work within templates), Microsoft Excel (data entry, sort, filter, and work within tables), and Microsoft Outlook (email and calendar management) Ability to work Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Reside within Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire Willing and able to travel 10% within Massachusetts Preferred Qualifications: 1+ years of experience working with health care insurance AND/OR medical claims, medical research or medical terminology 1+ years of clerical OR 1+ years of administrative support background 1+ years of experience working with Medicare and/or Medicaid Services Associate or Bachelor's degree Experience
