The Agency Operator Payment Analyst is responsible for managing the monthly payment cycle for Agency Operator partners, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with contractual agreements. This role requires advanced analytical skills to calculate commissions, verify payment eligibility, and prevent overpayments. The position involves maintaining accurate records of active and closed operators, issuing monthly statements, running and analyzing reports, and processing off-cycle payments as needed . Exceptional customer service and the ability to communicate clearly with partners are essential to maintaining strong relationships and supporting business operations.
What You'll Do
Manage the monthly payment process for Agency Operator partners, ensuring all eligible operators are paid accurately and on time Maintain accurate records of active and closed operators to ensure proper inclusion or exclusion in payment cycles Analyze contract terms and operational data to calculate commissions and verify payment accuracy Run and interpret reports to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement Issue monthly statements to Agency Operators, ensuring clarity and accuracy Process off-cycle payments as required, following established approval workflows and controls Provide top-tier customer service to Agency Operators, responding promptly to inquiries and resolving payment-related issues Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to maintain data integrity and streamline payment processes Utilize advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis tools) to prepare reconciliations and reporting Ensure compliance with internal controls, SOX requirements, and company policies related to financial transactions Support internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and reconciliations Perks You’ll Get: Access to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insurance Eligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions Full training to learn the business and enhance professional skills Employee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget cars Access to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and more What We're Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent work experience) and/or 3+ years of experience in accounting, accounts payable, commissions processing, or similar financial operations Advanced Excel proficiency with strong analytical capabilities Ability to manage high-volume, deadline-driven payment cycles with accuracy and efficiency Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service and professionalism Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion or similar) The annual starting salary for this position is between $50,000.00 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
