OVERVIEW
As the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program Coordinator, you will help implement and execute the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program. In this role, you will support product compliance by partnering with ingredient suppliers and internal stakeholders around the world to evaluate supplier chemical residue and contaminant management programs and ingredient test results, ensuring they meet compliance requirements. You will make routine decisions regarding program and result acceptability, escalate issues when needed, prepare reports for stakeholders, and respond proactively to emerging issues and trends. As part of the Food Safety and Quality professional community, you will help strengthen our approach to ingredient management and support readiness for evolving ingredient compliance requirements. KEY EXPERIENCES GAINED In this role you will: Build deep knowledge of supplier chemical residue and contaminant management and compliance Gain experience resolving issues with suppliers and communicating metrics to a variety of stakeholders Work across highly cross-functional teams to support solutions to complex challenges Develop exposure to global food regulatory affairs KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Implement and execute the Global Chemical Residue and Contaminant Supplier & Ingredient Program: Assist with rollout planning and program communications; Contribute to improvements in data systems and program operations; Evaluate supplier Chemical Residue and Contaminant Program survey responses against GMI expectations; Assign ingredient chemical residue and contaminant specifications based on risk; Review ingredient certificates of analysis for compliance with ingredient specifications. Enter, manage, and analyze data. Compile and share routine reports for key stakeholders. Create and deliver training on program operations for a range of audiences. Partner with suppliers, General Mills Sourcing and External Quality Management to resolve issues or escalate concerns as needed. Communicate required information to manufacturing sites to support audit readiness. Collaborate with regional and global partners on ingredient acceptability and emerging chemical residue and contaminant-related issues.
