Job Overview
As a Manager, Software Engineering (LabVIEW / Test Systems), you will lead the development of advanced test, calibration, and End-of-Line (EOL) software platforms for TE’s sensor products across Automotive and Industrial & Commercial Transportation markets. This role is focused on LabVIEW-based test system architecture, data acquisition, automation, and calibration platforms, enabling high-quality validation and efficient manufacturing testing. You will build and lead a high-performing engineering team, working closely with global product development, test engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams. You will drive scalable, standardized test solutions aligned with Lean Product Development, DFSS, and global validation standards. KEY RESPONSBILITIES:
Leadership & Execution • Lead and grow the India-based LabVIEW software team focused on: o Sensor calibration systems o End-of-Line (EOL) test platforms o Validation and characterization test setups • Own full lifecycle development of test software systems: o Requirements definition o Test architecture & system design o LabVIEW development & integration o Verification, validation, and deployment Test Systems & LabVIEW Engineering • Architect and develop modular, scalable LabVIEW frameworks for: o Data acquisition and instrumentation control o Automated test execution and reporting o Calibration algorithms and data processing • Develop standardized solutions for global deployment across test labs and manufacturing sites • Integrate hardware components (DAQs, sensors, actuators, environmental chambers, etc.) with software systems Calibration & EOL Test Development • Lead development of sensor calibration methodologies and automated routines • Design and deploy high-throughput, robust EOL testers for manufacturing environments • Ensure traceability, repeatability, and accuracy of test results across sites • Collaborate with product engineering teams for sensor characterization and validation strategies DESIRED SKILLS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related field • 16 to 20 years of experience in: o Test system development (LabVIEW strongly preferred) o Sensor validation, calibration, and manufacturing test • Strong expertise in: o LabVIEW application development
