The Manager Supply Cahin is responsible for the timely and cost-efficient procurement, inventory control, planning, and quality monitoring of production materials. Your main tasks:
Leadership of the logistics team and definition of objectives within the Production Control & Logistics (PC&L) area
Responsibility for Transportation, Warehouse Management, and optimization of internal logistics flows.
Recruitment, development, and management of the PC&L team in line with business requirements and objectives Responsibility for logistics management as well as the implementation of group-wide PC&L guidelines Ensuring customer satisfaction:
Managing daily activities Early identification and anticipation of customer requirements Building and maintaining stable customer relationships
Management and optimization of logistics processes
Monitoring daily operations Creating and aligning the production plan (Sales and Operations Plan) with plant management Responsibility for the Master Scheduling Plan (MSP) in collaboration with production leaders
Optimization of supplier and logistics partner performance, including maintaining relevant contacts Monitoring logistics KPIs and implementing necessary improvement measures in cooperation with other functions (e.g., quality assurance, production, PSE) Contribution to the further development of the PC&L network within the respective business unit Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, company policies, delegated responsibilities, and internal guidelines Driving defined targets through the development and implementation of improvement initiatives Ensuring 100% delivery reliability while minimizing costs Transparent planning and control of production with optimal fulfillment of customer requirements and maximization of profitability across the entire value chain, including connected plants Your ideal profile:
Completed degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification Experience in leading and managing employees Very good knowledge of operations, production, and supply chain processes Very good SAP skills Very good communication skills in matrix organizations Competencies
