Job Description
In a typical day as OEM Sales and Business Development Manager you: Own and execute the growth strategy for our focus OEM Accounts in DACH , delivering revenue and order targets through expansion, retention, and white-space capture. Partner closely with local Sales and Account teams to find new OEM opportunities, secure and a extend the OEM engagement through joint account plans, governance cadences, and executive sponsorship programs. Build senior customer relationships and influence customer roadmaps by positioning HPE-OEM as a long-term strategic partner across the customer lifecycle. Identify, qualify, and prioritize opportunities using clear commercial logic (value, feasibility, timing, competitive landscape) and ensure resources are aligned to the highest-impact plays. Onboard new logo´s and partners across the region and vertical industries (Healthcare, Transportation, Communication, Production, Energy Management, ISV´s). Develop compelling value propositions and business cases for complex solutions and services; articulate ROI, risk, and operational outcomes to customer decision-makers. Lead cross-functional alignment with internal stakeholders to move opportunities from concept to close. Engage and orchestrate the partner network where relevant to strengthen the offer, extend reach, and accelerate growth within OEM accounts. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecast discipline. Coach and enable local teams by sharing best practices, playbooks, and lessons learned to strengthen local OEM business development capability. If you have these Skills, Expertise, Attitude and Education… Bachelor of Engineering, Business Administration or similar field of studies, MBA (preferred) Multiple years in Sales, Partner Sales, Presales or Business Development is a must, ideally experience in the OEM business. Experience selling to partners in a complex environment. A self-starter with a mentality to explore new avenues to create incremental business and revenue streams for HPE. Technical interested, self-motivated and driven with a keenness, attitude, and willingness to learn and do multiple hats to meet the business demands. Grounds up experience of handling accounts, alliances and should have worked with brand building and technical equity building with corporates. Deep knowledge of HPE product and technology offerings to evangelize and engage in meaningful discussions with decision makers. Ability to build and maintain relationships at multiple levels in the OEM customer organization Eagerness to develop deep understanding of the OEM customer’s organization, offerings, their vertical markets and solutions, business challenges and customer opportunities. Understanding the total addressable market for IT, translate the vertical demand into IT-language and conversion of the same into tangible HPE share.
