Summary As a Peebles Control Console Tech, you will provide support in areas of engine and test cell hardware / software configuration under the leadership of appropriate staff or project personnel. Shifts Available **Must be available to work any of the following shifts** 1st Tue-Fri 5am-3:30pm 2nd Tue-Fri 3pm-1:30am 1st Sat-Mon 3am-3:30pm 2nd Sat-Mon 3pm-3:30am Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Ensure that control room display of data and safety limit annunciation is correct and in accordance with test requirements Participate in test planning efforts and support test in areas of the console, Fadec Monitoring System (FMS), Display Adjustment Panel (DAP) and Portable Data Loader (PDL) operation Maintain required test cell and engine hardware / software documentation Maintain effective communications with customers, support organizations, and team members Investigate, diagnose and correct instrumentation and system malfunctions Assist maintenance and engineering organizations in the maintenance and repair of test facilities Minimum Required Qualifications Associate degree or High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution   Additional Information Ability and willingness to work weekend shifts  Ability and willingness to work an off-shift position - weekend shift / 2nd shift  Ability and willingness to work overtime Desired Characteristics Some experience with hardware / software of control consoles and associated equipment Some knowledge of engine test facilities and associated equipment Strong communication skills Humble: respectful, receptive, agile, eager to learn Transparent: shares critical information, speaks with candor, contributes constructively Focused: quick learner, strategically prioritizes work, committed Leadership ability: strong communicator, decision-maker, collaborative Problem solver: analytical-minded, challenges existing processes, critical thinker GE Aerospace offers comprehensive benefits and programs to support your health and, along with programs like HealthAhead, your physical, emotional, financial and social wellbeing.
