Interested candidates for this option must be professionally licensed in Missouri, or eligible to treat patients through telehealth via PSYPACT credentialing. Our dedicated and multidisciplinary team of 70+ colleagues are willing to share their clinical expertise for case consultation, continuing education, and program development. Onsite & Remote work available. About the Health Psychology Program: Clinicians in this program address the interaction between physical, psychological, and social factors in health management. You would provide psychotherapy for the treatment of a wide variety of medical conditions and health-related issues. Some examples include cancer, chronic pain, diabetes, cardiac problems, movement problems; and training for treatment of specific health conditions or treatment modalities (e.g., biofeedback, presurgical psychological evaluations). The majority of your caseload would be traditional individual outpatient therapy, with opportunity to run outpatient groups related to Health Psychology. We encourage applicants who have additional subspecialty interests and training. We also allow for tailoring of your caseload, according to your expertise and competencies.
