2 years FTC | Hybrid Working Join Danone, a global leader in health-focused food and specialised nutrition Lead CAPEX sourcing across major manufacturing and investment projects in Australia and New Zealand Partner with Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to drive value, innovation, and business growth ABOUT THE ROLE We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute CAPEX Procurement Manager to join our Cycles & Procurement team. This is a newly created role responsible for leading end-to-end CAPEX procurement activities across Danone's ANZ manufacturing network. You will play a critical role in supporting capital investment projects, from initial business case development through to supplier selection, contracting, execution, and value realisation. Reporting to the Senior Manager Cycles & Procurement APAC, with a dotted-line relationship to the Head of Cycles & Procurement ANZ, you will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver robust sourcing strategies, optimise costs, and ensure successful project outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
CAPEX Sourcing & Procurement Lead sourcing activities for capital projects across ANZ manufacturing sites Develop supplier strategies and manage competitive tendering and RFQ processes Negotiate commercial terms and support contract execution Manage procurement activities for process equipment, packaging lines, utilities, automation systems, and site infrastructure projects Project Delivery & Business Partnering Partner with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and Legal teams throughout the project lifecycle Support business case development and Capital Approval Request (CAR) processes with robust supplier quotations and commercial insights Ensure alignment on project scope, timelines, and sourcing strategy Commercial Excellence & Cost Optimisation Drive Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analysis and value engineering initiatives Identify opportunities for CAPEX savings, cost avoidance, and supplier-led innovation Monitor supplier performance and project delivery outcomes against agreed targets Governance & Compliance Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, delegated authorities, and governance requirements Maintain accurate sourcing documentation and support audit readiness Promote best-practice procurement processes across capital projects About You ABOUT YOU You are a proactive procurement professional with strong commercial acumen and experience managing complex capital projects within manufacturing, FMCG, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, industrial, or related environments.
