The RF, ASIC & MMIC Design Department is seeking a talented RF Design Engineer to join our renowned RF design team in McKinney, TX. As an RF Design Engineer II, you will contribute to product development for radar and datalink applications on a tactical missile program. In this role, you will gain professional growth by working alongside senior engineers in the analysis, design, fabrication, testing, and integration of RF Circuit Card Assemblies. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, mission-critical solutions that meet program goals and timelines. This is an onsite role based in McKinney, TX.
What You Will Do
Support the design, development, and engineering review documentation for advanced RF or mixed-signals circuit designs for circuit card assemblies (CCAs). Work in a lab environment to perform component characterization as well as CCA verification and integration. Conduct comprehensive RF CCA/module checkout in accordance with the developed test plan and validate performance against the requirements matrix. Ensure compliance with technical performance standards and program requirements.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major. Electronics, electromagnetics, analog, or RF design coursework. Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain special program access after start.
Qualifications
We Prefer: Solid background and practical understanding of RF electronics design considerations (including experience or relevant coursework). Experience in simulation, analysis, testing, and troubleshoot of RF products. Highly self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities effectively. Experience with any combination of the following tools: Xpedition Schematic/Layout Tool or equivalent. SystemVue/Genesys or equivalent. Advanced Design System (ADS) or equivalent.
