Job Description
Do you have a passion for business development and a strong network within the healthcare industry? As a Practice Finance Business Development Officer, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities by developing and leveraging a broad network of healthcare professionals, referral sources, and centers of influence. Your ability to build credibility in the market, identify opportunities, and connect healthcare providers with specialized financing solutions will be critical to your success. In this role, you'll focus on expanding market presence, developing strategic referral partnerships, and originating opportunities that support healthcare professionals throughout the lifecycle of practice ownership, acquisition, expansion, and growth. Working within a highly specialized healthcare banking team, you'll bring industry expertise, financing knowledge, and business development acumen to drive portfolio growth and market expansion.
What You'll Do
Develop new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and market development activities. Establish and cultivate a broad network of healthcare-focused centers of influence, including consultants, attorneys, accountants, brokers, equipment vendors, and industry associations. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective healthcare practice finance opportunities. Represent the bank within the healthcare community through industry events, professional organizations, conferences, and referral partner engagement. Originate financing opportunities related to practice acquisitions, partner buy-ins and buy-outs, commercial real estate, equipment purchases, and practice expansion initiatives. Evaluate financing opportunities and recommend structures that align with client objectives, credit guidelines, and business goals. Collaborate with internal partners to deliver comprehensive solutions and maximize new business opportunities. Stay informed on healthcare industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging opportunities within the practice finance marketplace Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience Five or more years of experience in practice financing with proven success Preferred Skills/Experience Thorough knowledge of healthcare practice financing products, services, and current market trends Established healthcare industry network and demonstrated success developing centers of influence and referral partnerships Proven track record of generating new business through prospecting, networking, and market development efforts Strong understanding of credit products, financial analysis, loan structuring, and related documentation Thorough knowledge of secured lending requirements Exceptional business development, sales, and influencing skills Ability to identify opportunities and convert referrals into funded business Broad knowledge of bank products and services that support healthcare professionals and practice owners Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent presentation, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with individuals and groups across the company to support business development objectives Why Join Us?
