Overview The Developer designs develops, and tests solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality & performance requirements. Tey are expected to be proficient in a variety of technologies and languages (C#, Java, C++, etc., Microservices, Cloud Architecture and API's) to develop applications. The developer approaches software holistically, catering to both user experience and functionality. The developer dabbles in emerging technologies (e.g., machine learning, internet of things and Artificial Intelligence etc.) to develop solutions that improve business performance (e.g., proactive customer service, outage management, grid balancing, fraud detection, IoT security).   The Senior level performs assigned tasks under minimal guidance from Team Leader.   Responsibilities Collaborate with business users, system analysts, developers, and ecosystem partners to bring innovative ideas from conception to launch at scale. Assist in analyzing and researching new and existing products, procedures, and/or workflow needs associated with business systems. Advance in depth emerging technology and software delivery knowledge.   Adopt emerging technologies and launch products / services faster with rapid prototyping & iterative methods.   Proven ability to take prototypes to production, following engineering best practices.   As a strong team player and leader, working in an iterative/Agile environment, Build, configure, or customize the technical solution (reusable components, preconfigured solutions, cloud solution and services.   Work very closely with the System Architect and multiple Technology teams to champion the adoption of patterns, platforms, and tools to support the usage and conformity of solution architecture.   Manage automation and monitor application integration as code iteratively goes through assembly and product tests.   May be assigned an Electric Utilities emergency and storm role. This is a special assignment that comes into play during storms and other emergencies when the company needs to restore power or respond to other issues affecting customer service. This role may require the need to work after-hours, outside of your normal schedule.   The company reserves the right to determine if this position will be assigned to work on-site, remotely, or a combination of both. Assigned work location may change. In the case of remote work, physical presence in the office/on-site may be required to engage in face-to-face interaction and coordination of work among direct reports and co-workers.   Performs other duties as assigned.   Complies with all policies and standards.
