( https://natl.com/ ) National Interstate is looking for a Data Reporting Analyst to join their team. This individual will work a hybrid schedule out of the Richfield office. National Interstate’s culture is built on connection, shared learning, and strong relationships. To support this, employees in this role are expected to be on-site four days a week, with the flexibility to work one day remotely. Core in‑office days are Tuesday–Thursday, with the fourth day determined by business needs. Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities Gathers, analyzes, and interprets large volumes of data from multiple sources to support business objectives. Ensures data integrity and accuracy by performing regular data audits and validation checks. Maintains and updates databases, ensuring data is organized and accessible for reporting purposes. Develops, designs, and generates reports, dashboards, and visualizations to provide actionable insights to stakeholders. Analyzes trends and patterns in data to identify opportunities for improvement and inform strategic decisions. Collaborates with various departments to understand their data reporting needs and deliver customized solutions. Presents findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Identifies and implements process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency. Maintains updated knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in data analytics and reporting. Develops and maintains documentation for data processes, workflows, reporting standards, and data dictionaries. Additionally preforms tracking and documenting state documents, tracking and processing adjuster renewal licenses and completing internal claim audits as needed. Performs other duties as assigned Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent experience.

Experience

Generally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in data analytics, reporting or a related field. Previous experience in the insurance industry preferred. Completion of or continuing progress toward a certification in area of expertise preferred; appropriate certifications could include an Associate Insurance Data Manager (AIDM), or
