 Key Responsibilities: Maintain and repair a wide range of manufacturing equipment and site infrastructure, following preventative maintenance schedules. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues on automated equipment. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, contributing to increased efficiency and productivity. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Quality, R&D, Engineering) on projects involving new equipment design and installation. Ensure all work complies with company health and safety policies.
What you'll bring
Certificate III – Mechanical Trade (Fitting and machining) Proven experience in a food manufacturing or related industry (essential) Demonstrated knowledge and experience with pneumatics (essential) Ability to weld (TIG and MIG) and carry out minor fabrication work Experience with automated plant and mechanical machine timing Experience with packaging equipment (Case packers/Thermoformers/Conveyors) is highly desirable. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Excellent teamwork and communication skills Desirable (but not essential): D Class Electrical License Forklift License SAP and Microsoft Office experience
