As the Materials Escalation Manager – Aftermarket, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our customers receive the parts they need when they need them. In this highly visible position, you'll lead the end-to-end supply chain escalation process for our Aftermarket business, partnering with planning, procurement, operations, supplier management, and product line leadership to resolve complex material shortages and delivery risks. You'll transform data into action, drive cross-functional alignment, improve escalation processes, and help strengthen supplier performance—all while supporting the operational readiness of aircraft around the globe.

What You Will Do

Act as the primary escalation focal for the Aftermarket Planning team; responsible for owning, improving, and executing the supply chain escalation process. Monitor critical supply chain issues, evaluate risks, analyze trends, and coordinate cross-functional actions to ensure timely resolution and improved supplier performance. Maintain thorough knowledge of key products, critical parts, delivery challenges, customer requirements, internal planning methodologies, and external factors impacting supply chain performance. Manage and prioritize multiple concurrent supply chain escalations. Lead cross-functional issue resolution including root cause analysis, solution development, execution tracking, and stakeholder communication. Develop, maintain, and enhance escalation processes, standards, and workflows that support supply chain performance, customer expectations, and future growth. Establish and utilize metrics to monitor escalation trends, supplier delivery performance, and overall site supply chain health. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement. Collaborate with Product Line leaders to assess monthly spares consumption needs based on forecast, inventory, customer orders, and capacity constraints. Support monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP). Identify and communicate step-down priorities across the demand stream to ensure alignment and focus on highest-impact material risks. Support Collins Aftermarket business segments by monitoring and reporting supplier performance relative to shortages, recovery commitments, line-of-balance status, and corrective actions. Partner across Supply Chain sub-functions—including procurement, planning, operations, and supplier performance—to drive coordinated actions that meet customer delivery requirements. Serve as the primary contact to the Product Line and Product Service Managers for spares-related delivery issues, escalations, and recovery planning. Respond promptly to Part inquiries related to supplier delivery commitments, material status, and recovery timelines. Share process expertise by providing guidance, training, and support to team members and business leaders to ensure consistent application of escalation and recovery practices. This
