To learn more about OPW Clean Energy Solutions, please visit our website: OPW Clean Energy Solutions SCOPE : The Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily operations of the production floor; ensuring established safety, quality and production requirements are met. Monitors daily productivity and work quality output, define resource needs and staffing parameters to meet business goals. Ensures the accuracy and integrity of inventory movement. Monitors staff productivity, efficiency, and job performance. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision of team members – training, auditing, evaluations, performance discussions, disciplinary actions, career development, employee engagement and morale
Mentor and develop current and potential production leadership
Execute weekly production schedule continuously improving productivity and efficiency by managing KPIs
Assure company policies and procedures are followed to maintain a productive and safe work environment
Determine staffing needs and adjust accordingly to meet production requirements
Coordinate and direct the activities of the production floor to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Manage, review, and approve employee timesheets including vacation requests
Inspect product to verify product standards and specifications are met
Coordinate material needs and production schedule with appropriate parties
Ensure job-related accidents or injuries are reported and documented timely and take corrective action in an expedient manner.
Recommend equipment upgrades and process modifications.
Participate in continuous improvement projects to reduce material and labor costs
Performs daily safety GEMBA
Accountable for all aspects of ISO 9001/IATF 16949 compliance
Participate in annual physical inventory
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelors degree in related field preferred
3+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
3+ years’ supervisory experience
Demonstrated ability to develop staff members and build a strong team
Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure; multi-task; meet tight deadlines
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills to include MS Office products (especially
