Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.   As a Quality Technician (CQMS) at Caterpillar, you will play a key role in driving quality excellence across the BAWA facility. In this role, you will support continuous improvement initiatives, audit processes, and problem-solving efforts that directly impact product quality and operational performance. This position is under limited supervision and typically reports to a supervisor. Job duties/responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Develop and maintain procedures and standard work (SOPs/SWIs) aligned to CQMS Conduct quality audits (CQMS, Planned Method Audits, Customer Acceptance Validation (CAV), etc.) Lead and support root cause analysis and corrective actions (ICA/PCA) Partner with cross-functional teams and leadership to coordinate audits, improvements, and issue resolution Develop and manage quality checks (PDI, IQA, and others) Document, track, and report quality issues and audit findings Support Continuous Improvement and CPS/5S initiatives Provide floor-level quality support and collaboration with technicians, auditors, and operations Follow and utilize CPS principles of 5S, assist with achieving 5S goals. Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Physical Requirements (with or without reasonable accommodation): Ability to sit or stand for extended periods Ability to move throughout the facility and production floor  Ability to lift up to 35 lbs Ability to work around manufacturing equipment and machinery Basic Qualifications: Minimum 1 year of experience in a quality-related role Experience developing procedures and standard work (SOPs/SWIs) Proficiency with inspection equipment and measurement gauges Working knowledge of SAP Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) Resumes are highly encouraged.
