In this highly visible role, you'll partner with HR, business leaders, universities, and recruiting teams to attract, assess, and hire top early-career talent while delivering exceptional candidate experiences and strengthening our future talent pipeline. The Early Career Lead executes enterprise-wide campus program recruitment and hiring, exercising independent judgment in program execution, stakeholder partnership, and continuous improvement. The role drives the attraction, assessment, and selection of undergraduate and graduate talent for internships and the Hubbell Rotation Program. This position plays a key role in strengthening the early career talent pipeline through data-informed decision-making, program governance, and cross-functional collaboration with Talent Acquisition and local HR teams. Leads cross-functional administration and continuous improvement of early career recruiting and program practices to ensure alignment, consistency, and effective HR service delivery. Partners with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and functional stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Finance, IT, Operations) to solve program issues, resolve exceptions, and drive execution decisions that impact hiring outcomes. Interprets and translates policies and procedures into clear guidance for campus programs and advises on appropriate application within early career programs. Owns assigned projects end-to-end by defining scope, establishing timelines, analyzing data and feedback, identifying risks, and delivering recommendations and outcomes to stakeholders. MaintainS strong organization and proactive follow-up across numerous internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely communication, alignment, and execution of activities to meet established timelines and objectives. Campus Programs Execution
Executes the full campus recruiting lifecycle, including intake alignment, sourcing strategy, assessment approach, offer recommendations, and selection of outcomes for interns and Hubbell Rotation Program hires. Conducts candidate screens and interviews and makes hiring recommendations based on evaluation of qualifications, alignment to role requirements, and program needs. Manages Hubbell Rotation Program hiring, inclusive of intern to full time conversions and external hires through campus recruitment and university partnerships. Partners with Talent Acquisition to actively bridge the gap between campus programs and early career hiring enterprise-wide through university partnerships and intern recruiting pipelines. Directs interview processes, including panel selection and evaluation criteria, and leads to debrief discussions to drive consistent and equitable selection decisions. Owns candidate experience standards and communications, ensuring timely guidance and resolution of escalations or issues during the recruitment process. Partners with HR, IT, and Operations to set onboarding expectations, identify gaps, and implement improvements that strengthen early career conversion and retention outcomes. Monitors and analyzes campus and intern recruiting metrics and trends; recommends improvements to campus strategy, event mix, and program operations. Assists in the execution of the summer intern program across locations, driving consistency, issue resolution, and program enhancements across stakeholders. Establishes co-op program standards and partners with various Hubbell locations to maintain consistency in execution across the enterprise.
