This role supports an existing data product team that primarily delivers data products in PL/SQL and MSSQL but will later deliver in Databricks. Core Skill Combination Oracle PL/SQL / MSSQL engineering: dynamic SQL, partitioned tables, performance tuning, restartable processes Problem Solving: Strong data transformation problem solving skills.  Where do we get the data, efficient technology selection.  Ability to validate data results and debug transformation issues effectively. Modern data engineering : Databricks, PySpark, AWS S3 Beneficial Disciplines Banking domain fluency: Average Daily Balancing math, General Ledger structure, managerial ledger, Month to date accumulation, COBOL legacy deconstruction. COBOL literacy — framework replicates legacy mainframe X7IC2x and X9AVGxx programs exactly Banking product knowledge — Average daily balancing, interest accruals, split record behavior, etc. Dynamic SQL → Python translation skill (critical for Databricks migration) If there’s anything we can do to accommodate a disability during any portion of the application or hiring process, please refer to our  disability accommodations for applicants .
