Location:      Sugar Land, Tx Job Summary The PMR Technician is responsible for performing routine preventative maintenance and repair activities to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of equipment, machinery, and facility systems. This role conducts inspections, diagnoses mechanical and electrical issues, and performs corrective actions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow. The technician maintains detailed maintenance records, follows established safety and quality procedures, and collaborates closely with production and engineering teams to support continuous improvement. Strong troubleshooting skills, technical knowledge, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this position.

Read blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures. Install, align, take apart and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment, such as pumps, fans, tanks, conveyors, furnace ovens, and generators according to layout plans using hand and power tools. Operate hoisting and lifting devices, such as cranes, jacks and tractors, to position machinery and parts during the installation, set-up and repair of machinery. Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect and find irregularities and malfunctions. Install, troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, vacuum, hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Adjust machinery and repair or replace defective parts. Operate machine tools, such as grinders and presses, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machinery. Must have technical writing abilities to help create JHA’s, Work procedures, SOP’S, Best practices and assist in work order procedures changes. Must ensure that you are fully capable of using e-maintenance to accurately complete preventative maintenance tasks. Performs other job-related duties as required or assigned.
